Failed To Import 3D Objects

Hello together,

We are here working with the Demoversion of our first Virtual Studio two days ago, we built it in Cinema 4D and used the Collada export it worked perfectly. But today when restarting Aximmetry it Told us that the Collada File has too many objects. To prevent further questions: no we didn't install any Update on that workstation and we did no 3D Modeling in Cinema during the restart.

Could it fix the Error to use the FBX import instead of the Collada?

Can U tell us the Limits for those Files? How many Polygons/Objects does Aximmetry Support? Is there any fix or workaround to prevent this error without joining objects in Cinema together? (I've seen the other post in the forum)

thank you very much for your help and Time!

Maybe try Aximmetry DE and import your scene in Unreal Engine instead? With the UE4 Datasmith plug-in importing C4D scenes should be quite easy.

Note that you have to do the Datasmith import in the standard 4.24 Unreal Editor, since the Aximmetry UE4 Editor doesn’t support plug-ins.

Hi Andreas,
The latest versions limits the number of the objects at 200.  Most likely something has triggered the reimport in your scene this is why you see the message now.
This limit is specifically added to avoid previously frequently experienced performance problems during import. Unfortunately there is no workaround, you should join the objects.
