Hi, Aximmetry ;)
Does Aximmetry work with Stype Kit?
Hi,
I am playing with Stype Kit for some time now. Using Stype's protocol. The position tracking is easy to set-up, very precise and stable.
However, I have an issue with the zoom data coming from Stype. It is a value between 0 and 1, looks like a linear function or some curve, but any value except 0 is making tracking go crazy, resulting in zooming vrong - much faster than needed.
I've tried to exclude zoom data from Stype Kit and i've made a calibration profile in Aximmetry's calibrator, which resulted in almost working but jittering and not accurate zoom behavior. I guess it is a matter of working hardly on precise calibrating manually, but still I would prefer to use Stype's zoom data. Can you please advise on the issue?
Hi,
If the zoom value is between 0 and 1, it likely indicates that the zoom is not calibrated. When setting up Stype's system, a calibration of the zoom, along with other necessary calibrations, is typically provided. This can serve as an alternative to using the Camera Calibrator.
However, if you use Aximmetry's Camera Calibrator and select the Adjustable FoV option, it will calibrate the zoom and should provide accurate zoom values through the calibration file:
Warmest regards,
Hi Lyubomir,
Yes, Aximmetry works with Stype Kit.
The Stype Kit can transmit tracking data in FreeD protocol or using Stype's protocol; Aximmetry supports both formats.
