Regarding the issue with using Aximmetry Eye over Ethernet connection to the computer:

Originally, I was using my phone's hotspot to connect Aximmetry Eye on my phone to Aximmetry DE on my computer, and it was successfully tracking. However, due to signal delays and instability, I decided to switch to an Ethernet connection.

I connected my phone, which has an Ethernet adapter, to the same switch as the computer. The IP addresses are in the same domain, and both devices can ping each other successfully, indicating that the networks are communicating. However, when I try to connect Aximmetry Eye on my phone to Aximmetry DE on the computer, it fails to establish a connection. Is there any additional configuration required, or is Ethernet connection not supported at this time?

The issue has been resolved, but the test results did not show any improvement compared to using the hotspot sharing method. Instead, there was even more severe latency and overheating. Perhaps it would be worth trying the method of using 5G WiFi.

Hi,

Using a direct connection will not address the issue of overheating. Note that even when utilizing the phone solely for tracking, overheating can still occur as the iPhone's camera needs to remain active.
The overheating issue could be the bottleneck preventing you from seeing any improvement with the direct connection. Investing in a quality cooling solution for your phone should not only help with the overheating but also can make the benefits of a direct connection more apparent.

Warmest regards,
