Billboard quality vs input from UE

Bugs Video Playback Unreal

 

The billboard quality is exceptionally sharp, but the media input from UE applied as a material onto a plane is quite blurry in comparison.

We tried a side by side with the same input

I followed the tutorial for getting a feed into Aximmetry from UE.

Are we doing something wrong or is it just the TAA and tonemapper?

If so any chance we can have more billboards? :D

The Billboards might have some sharpening applied by default. Have you tried to apply sharpening to the media input as well?

Hi ya,

Its the same file here, just a still jpg - ive rotated the top one so you can see the difference.

I suppose what im asking is - we like the sharp detail, it would be nice to have more billboards and the ability to shape bill boards i.e curved.

Once again if i am doing something wrong - thats great, let me know!!

Ignore me, i thought i had taken off the focus. just adjusted it and now they are  similar.

But the billboard is still sharper?
