3D cleanplate issue.

Hello,

I'm trying to get 3D clean plate working but, after adding the model and triggering "Capture", the whole model of the greenscreen gets darker, and if I use the clean plate in KeyerB, almost everything even person is getting keyed out.

Moved the model to the side and triggered it so you can see what color was originally. On the left is after triggering "Capture" and on the right is the original greenscreen feed.

3D cleanplate issue.

I have "Import materials" unticked.

In wireframe it looks like this

Hi Tommy.

Sorry for asking the obvious, but are the face normals in your model pointing into the right direction?

Cheers.

Eric.

Hi,

They look something like this, I'm not sure if this is correct. There is little to none information on what Is needed for the model to work with this feature.

Sounds like the UV's of the 3D model are not correct for the cleanplate generator. We experienced the same behaviour for a certain part of the green screen 3D model and it was fixed once I did the UV map again. Initially I used Zen UV (Blender addon) for packing the UV islands which seemingly did a perfect job, but even when it seemed so the scan didn't work for the whole model. The problematic part just vanished after triggering the first capture. I guess the UV islands were overlapping like one pixel which could explain the issue as it is mentioned in the official Aximmetry documentation. If you know Blender, even the simple "smart UV unwrap" could work and fix it.
