You could get the red output because of a badly compiled shader.

Try clearing the cache at Edit->Prefences - General - Clear Resource Cache:

You should check if you mapped the DeckLink as an input in the Device Mapper:

If it is mapped here in the Video inputs, then you can not use it as an output:

You should reset the mapping by selecting the "-" option instead of DeckLink.
