How works live actors cast real-time shadows, reflection, refraction ? this shadows, reflections and refraction works with unreal sets and camera tracking for live events?
Hello - I'm using version DE Edition 2021.4.2
I'm tracking a physical camera with an actor on a green screen. I'm using the "TrackedCam_Unreal_Prev_3-Cam_3-Billboard.xcomp". My background is from Unreal Engine.
How can I generate shadows/reflections from my actor being filmed by the physical camera onto my virtual environment?
I'm been reading the docs/tutorials but I didn't find a way to do this.
Appreciate the help!
If you use an Unreal scene, currently you cannot use these yet. Soon we'll release the DE editions with a complete tracking support, then you'll be able to use billboards with tracking as well, thus you'll be able to generate shadows and reflection.
