common library empty in composer DE 2023.2.1 + could not access network location

Hi

I just installed Composer and cannot see the common library it is empty. But the xpack files are there for the correct version (Common_Library_2023.2.1.xpack) . Any idea what i need to do?

I tried following instructions here https://youtu.be/Ia2XPRovfys but get an error "could not access network location" when i try to double click the "Common_Library_2023.2.1.xpack" file.

And I searched the forum and tried to:

1) Reinstall

2) Open Unreal and Composer as administrator

Hi,

Yes, you need to first open the package by double-clicking on it.
You probably get the error "could not access network location" cause you have Root Project Folders that point to a shared folder that is currently unreachable.
You can change Root Project Folders in Aximmetry Composer's Edit->Preferences:

Yes I got the network error when I tried double clicking the "Common_Library_2023.2.2.xpack" and ended up finding a different solution.

The solution I found was that I opened up the "Aximmetry.Installer.exe" and then manually located the "Common_Library_2023.2.2.xpack" and installed it with your installer. Then I installed the other xpacks in the same way like the studio demo sets and the inventory. Then I opened up Unreal Aximmetry and Composer as an administrator (my company has admin access blocks so most people may not need to do that part) and it is working great now. I have unreal loading in 3d levels into the composer and am figuring out how that tool works.

Hope that helps out anyone else who is having the same problem

cheers
