Is there a way to name inputs without having to mess with the compounds? (esp. if they get overwritten by new versions later)

Hi Jim,
In the latest version of Aximmetry, 2026.2.0 BETA, subtitles are now available on various Control Board panels to show the camera name. For the virtual camera compound mentioned above, you can use the Name parameter to name the input, and that name will be displayed as a subtitle on the INPUT panel:

There is no way to do this without editing the compound. And even then, it is not really recommended as things get referenced to module names.
But there could be for example an extra display name or subtitle.
We added this to our request list and we will consider adding it in future releases.
