I saw the 'subframes' option in Preferences after recent updates.
Can somone tell me what this option do?

Hi,
You can use it with the Subframe Video Out module. With it, you can alternate between two video data. This can be useful when you want cameras to see different things on the same screen or LED.
Note, that this currently only works with monitor outs and not with SDI output. The output must be set to Sync. Other output methods must not use the same output index as the Subframe Video Out. Also, this is not yet a fully-fledged feature. Please try not to use it with higher than 2 Subframe values.
