I'm having an issue that i didn't have on the community edition. How do i sync the fps to the monitor that i'm using so that it doesn't create the screen tearing and in the same time having the option to change the fps (frame per second)? In the community edition the option below was aways avaiable no matter if it was sync with the monitor or not. But in the studio edition this option stay grayed out when the sync option is ticked.
VSync

Take a look in this image. Even setting previously the fps in 60p, the frame rate keeps greyed out and the processor load shows that the fps is locked in 30. This bugs occurs only in the studio version. It seams that the sync doesnt lock the fps with the hetz of monitor any more. Doesn't matter what hertz i leave in the monitor, i awalys get screen tearing
Obs: this 182% GPU usage is a bug. When i remove the sync option, the fps comes back to 60 with no problem, but with screen tearing.
Hi,
Sadly, there are some issues with using sync on video card output in the current version. That halving of FPS is one of them.
While the issue is not fixed, you should use the output without sync and set the FPS here:
Sadly, this issue is present in all versions.
Actually, the graying out of the Frame rate is not related to this issue. Even in previous versions when you set sync, the FPS set in Preferences->Frame rate was not used. The graying out was added to make that more clear.

Hi,
Do you have screen tearing when you use no sync and you set the Frame rate here to the same as your monitor's?:
Also, do you have anything in the red in the ProcessorLoad panel when the tearing happens?
And we apologize for the inconvenience the sync is causing in the current version. The team is working to address this issue for an upcoming software release.
Warmest regards,
Hi,
Aximmetry Version 2023.2.2 has been released today. The new version contains fixes for various monitor output issues and performance load.
You can find the change log here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/software-version-history/#%E2%96%BA-latest-2023-2-2

Hi,
Sadly, the image you inserted has not been saved.
I am guessing you are outputting HDMI to your monitor through your video card. In that case, even in previous versions, you shouldn't have been able to set the fps for the Monitor out in the Video Outputs window.
You should set the fps for monitors in Windows settings if you are not using a capture card to output the video. And then launch Aximmetry and it should detect the correct fps in the grayed-out area and you should be able to use sync at your intended fps.
Warmest regards,
