MULTIMACHINE PROBLEM WITH SDI OUT BLACK VIDEO FEED

Hello,

i'm tryng to connect two workstation for remote renderers (1 control machine + 1 slave), the problem is that when i connect the two machine, on the control machine i can see everything (unreal scene + video feed on the billboard) , but on the slave i see the unreal scene but not the video feed in the billboard, it just appear black billboard. (the two workstation has the same decklink video card and the same video feed).  I attached two image below of what i see on the monitor

If you open Aximmetry in standalone mode on the Slave machine, do you then see the video feed? Have you verified that you have the same port configuration on the Decklink on both machines. If they’re not the same or have different names, you need to use mapped inputs instead of selecting the Decklink input directly Aximmetry.

Yes, if i open the project on the slave as standalone, i can see the video feed correctly, and yes i use mapped inputs, but i still not see the feed in remote renders mode! Any suggestions?

Thank you

I would check that the mapping settings are the same for both machines. If I remember correctly, the settings for the remote node are configured separately to the settings in the main app, so I would check those settings in the remote machine.

Hi,

You actually have the wrong settings on both computers. You can not have the same device's port as input and output:

Probably what stopped it from working on the slave machine was that you even put it on sync.

Warmest regards,
