Aximmetry DE- Unreal combine rendering camera focus.

Hi,

With Aximmetry 2023.1

My setup is to use Unreal render and aximetry render at the same time : combine rendering with tracked camera.

In the aximmetry composer :

I get the focus of my PTZ freeD camera in the Unreal scene, as well as the pan tilt and zoom.

i use the render general compound with a plane as child , the shader is video. The plane follow the my PTZ camera and is align with the Unreal scene but it is always on focus.

How can i get the focus to work with the aximmetry DE renderer ?

Thanks.

Hi Mat,

I think you meant the Aximmetry SE renderer and you already set up the focus for the Unreal render in the camera compound. In that case, you need to use one of the Depth Of Field modules. You can read more about it here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/preparation-of-the-production-environment-phase-i/obtaining-graphics-and-virtual-assets/creating-content/creating-content-in-aximmetry-se/post-process-effects/#depth-of-field
You could get the focus of the camera compound by using a Transmit Scalar module and setting it's From Tunnel pin to CAMERA FOCUS:

Warmest regards,

Hi, thank you for the reply.

I mean DE not SE.

I notice that when you play a video in a virtual screen with the general compoud , the quality is perfect, better than a plane in Unreal.

So i want to combine aximmetry renderer and unreal renderer to make virtual screen with max quality.

So i will try the depth of field module.
