It probably has something to do with the non-standard UE5 install location. Could also be a file read/write privilege thing.

Maybe you could re-create the standard install path for just the plug-ins on the C drive?

It fails because the MetaHuman plugin is missing some third-party source code. We are investigating possible solutions for the issue.

Hi,

There is a workaround. However, it will only work in live sync mode and won't work in cooked mode:

  • Install the Metahuman plugin from the Epic Marketplace.
  • Copy the Metahuman plugin from the original Unreal Engine's Plugins\Marketplace folder to Unreal Engine for Aximmetry's Plugins\Marketplace folder.
  • Open the file at Unreal Engine for Aximmetry's folder->\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace\MetaHuman\Binaries\Win64\UnrealEditor.modules with a text editor program. And then change the BuildID to: "BuildId": "Aximmetry DE 5.2",

After this, the Metahuman plugin should work in live sync mode.

Hi,

You no longer need to copy the Metahuman plugin and edit it with a text editor.
Since Aximmetry version 2023.2.2 plugins can run in Live Sync without the plugin's source code. So you can install Metahuman to Aximmetry like any other Epic Marketplace plugin.
