Can you please help us with telling us what are the steps that cause the problem?
In the new version if there is a serious issue a window will pop up that offer you to create a so called "dump file". Were you able to see this window? If yes: can you please create a dump file and send us?

I think that the software in general have decreased performance compared to older version and most noticeable the software UI ,

I think that it Software UI became very glitchy.

Also I have aximmetry Community installed on old Laptop ,I cant open new Compound and cant force the software to exit to create dump file.

the laptop have and old AMD Radeon R5 M255 2G gpu.

Could you be more specific on "decreased performance" and "glitchy UI" ?

What do you experience exactly, and what steps lead to it?

We're investigating the dumps, we'll return on it later.

Regarding the UI: it can be seen on your video that the GPU load is very high. In these situations naturally the UI rendering slows down as well.
Two questions:
- Was the very same scene faster in the 4.1 version on your laptop? Or you changed something (added new videos etc)?
- Have you also experience the problem on your studio PC?

We didn't install the new version on studio PC yet,we are currently testing 2020.5 before doing that.

I just upgraded tonight and I migrated my old test project from uneal (with a few improvements but nothing drastic, it is still a light project). I am also getting bad crashes which require a full restart. This is on a pretty good machine. I sent support the crash logs through the app crash menu.

That is a very different problem, it's a known bug that will be fixed soon.
Please replace the Aximmetry_Camera to newest version in your Unreal project, cook it, and then you'll be able to load it.

Btw. I cannot see any dump file you sent us.  Maybe you just generated it, but did not send us via email?

Ahmed:  does the software hang right after you start it and load the xshad file?
Do you mean even the menus are inaccessible?

Because it seem to be a different problem than the one we talked about so far.

I Think that maybe the scene gpu usage on 2020.5 lower than 2020.4.1 ,I am noct sure, the UI glitches made me feel that the software became slower

It may be a different bug, but I had replaced the camera and recooked the scene before. I am sending you the dump logs.

For my specific issue, I deleted the settings (Reset) at launch - and things have been stable since.

In 2020.5.1 a number of related crashes and UI glitches were fixed, please test it.
