In AR mode, DMX fixtures have no actor option and cannot fill in the aximmetryAR label,I have searched for these DMX lamps, even the blueprint of the object, but I can’t find where the label index set by the actor is. If you don’t fill in this, the object will not be recognized. It’s very strange. I hope my picture can be very clear. express my question, thanks

It seems that the DMX of AR should not be solved. It is difficult. I have also studied it for 3 days, and this problem is bothering me.

Hi,

When you open the blueprint of the object, go to Class Settings, select Hide Categories, and revert the Actor element:

Then compile and every object with this blueprint should get back its actor options.

Don't be disappointed for not finding this option, sadly, Unreal is very convoluted and complex when it comes to things like this.

An alternative way is to use the Aximmetry AR Tracked Camera's Update ARObjects function which is discussed here: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/2789-unreal-geometry-script-plugin-for-ar

Warmest regards,

Hi,

We don't have official groups. This forum functions as the official open and searchable place to discuss and make questions. And we guarantee that we answer all the questions within 15 working days on this forum.

Also, we offer more direct paid support through a ticket system where we guarantee to answer every question or problem within 72 hours. And actually, we answer most questions within 24 hours there. You can get more details about this support by writing to sales@aximmetry.com.

Otherwise, if you want to get the latest about Aximmetry, we have these pages on different platforms:

And there are several unofficial groups on Facebook and channels on Discord where you can talk with other Aximmetry users.

You can also ask or search Unreal-related questions on Unreal's official forum: https://forums.unrealengine.com

Warmest regards,
