Hello,
I'm currently working with a MixedCam_Unreal 3-3.
I set up a static real camera in my room and trying to render it into a virtual cam in the scene.
Once my keying is done, I get this wierd final where the billboard is blocking reflections on the screen behind + creating other visual problems, see attached pictures
Am I missing something here ? Do I have to enable/disable something I didn't see ? Thanks for the time you'ill take to answer me.
Hi,
Most likely it is not caused by reflections, but it is an issue with the virtual screen (on which Sport News is written).
The virtual screen's material probably has a setting turned on which is causing an artifact with the anti-aliasing and the billboard
The easiest fix is to turn off Allow Virtuals in Aximmetry: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/preparation-of-the-production-environment-phase-i/green-screen-production/tracked-camera-workflow/scene-control-panel/#allow-virtuals
Otherwise, you probably need to edit the virtual screen's material and turn off Allow Custom Depth Writes.
Also, patterns like this usually cause artifacts in anti-aliasing anyway:
As the lines are too small and numerous for anti-aliasing to correctly smooth it out.
Warmest regards,
