25 P video and sync generator needs

Hello.

I'm working on Aximmetry and tracker manufacturer is antilatency. my previous experiences with PTZ's and some other brands. During this R&D period, I have a sigma FP and it has 25 P cdmi out put only. and result videos are still bad. When I look Aximmetry's page mostly says 50i or 50p. any idea about differences between 25p and 50 make this results on my exports? and I don't have a frame sync device here. I use one camera for now but if it is necessary a can connect a Sync Gen to BM 8 K capture card.

best regards

I'm using 25p videos without a problem. What's "bad" about yours? The image quality ? the tracking? The synchronisation?

@Isamil: Since Antilatency and your camera doesn’t support genlock, I don’t see what benefit a sync generator would have? Since you don’t go into any details on what is “bad” it’s hard to offer any constructive help, but start with making sure you input/output and project setting are all set to matching frame rates. If set up properly, there is shouldn’t be any issues with using 25p. The difference with 50p is simply that you’re rendering and capturing twice as many frames, at almost twice the cpu/GPU load. No need doing that unless you want your final output to be 50p.

hello all. Yes, tracking is bad. I want to use a real camera freely in the studio.  I have antilatency stuff. I can track the camera's movements. While on a tripot, everything seems fine, but when I get the camera, tracking is fucked. I made the basic and the camera calibration. I did whatever I needed to do (I guess not enough). At the end, I thought that I needed to add something to compound . I use "TrackedCam_Unreal_Prev_3-Cam_3-Billboard". but I don't use "billboard" futur. may be later but for know, I just need to track properly in studio. Actually, the background is better. but when I look to ground, it is moving under foods or stuffs.

a question: when I set manual zoom's value higher than one, like four, Tracking became work. Am I wrong? sorry for the huge screen caption :(

@ismail: This indicates that you haven’t set up your Antilatency grid correctly, or that you missed something in the calibration. Are you using the official Aximmetry Calibration board with the Advanced Calibrator? Are using a fixed lens or a zoom lens? So many things can go wrong, so without more details and test footage it will be hard to figure out what it is.

"This indicates that you haven’t set up your Antilatency grid correctly," is the main idea.

Actuallay I'm talking to antilatency team about this issue. As you said, I use calibration board (download it and printed to A3 paper size). The camera is a Sigma FP. camera sensor is 35.9mm (from sigma ''s page) Lens fixed is 24mm 1.5 f. envoirenment is 6x6 and celling is 2.6m. I have ten truss reference bars.

I assume that you’ve measured that the printout of the calibration board is done at the exact correct scale? If your printer does any kind of scaling, the calibration will be totally wrong.
