Aximmetry DE Billboard reflection

 

Hi, 

I'm having some billboard reflection issues, the reflections is misplaced along the z axis. But other reflections are displayed correctly.


Can this be solved?

The billboard is on the ground.

Can you please insert a bigger image where there is an object next to the billboard (for example a cube)?

Screen Space Reflections in UE4  can’t handle reflections from the Billboard properly since it uses a Translucent material. I hope this is something Aximmetry can find a workaround for, but in the meantime you can fix it by enabling Global Clip Plane in project settings and adding a Planar Reflection on the floor.

The solution is right here above your post. Don’t use ScreenSpaceReflections. Enable GlobalClipPlane and add a Planar Reflection instead.
