When to use the 2x2 Calibration Board?

Hello,

yesterday I did my first lens calibration using the tool provided by Aximmetry. I followed the instruction on screen, but I had some troubles, because I was using a 70mm lens.

My guess is that I have to use the little calibration board (2x2) in this case, or is it a totally different approach?

Thank you

Hi,

Yes, the little calibration checkerboard is for these cases when your lens and your studio dimensions don’t allow you to finish the calibration process. You can tell the Aximmetry Camera Calibrator to continue the calibration with the smaller checkerboard by clicking on the “I CAN’T GO THERE” button.

Best regards
