Does Aximmetry support Gopro webcam?

Hi folks, I have a Gopro 11 and I have used it as a webcam. It worked with a lot of software (OBS, Notch, Disguise, TouchDesigner,...). But with Aximmetry, it doesn't detect my gopro webcam.

Please help me.

With Notch, I have to uncheck "Use Media Foundation"

With TouchDesigner, I have to choose DirectShow, if I choose media foundation option, it will not appear Gopro webcam Option

With OBS, it auto detects my Gopro

Here is my Aximmetry, it's not detecting Gopro webcam

Hi,

You could try using Aximmetry Composer with the /dshowlegacy command line parameter.

It replaces Media Foundation with DirectShow, similar to the options you used in those 3rd party software.

Hi,

Probably the easiest, if you create a new shortcut from Aximmetry Composer that will include the command line parameter.
You can create the shortcut by right-clicking on Composer in a file browser or on the desktop:

Then you right-click on the new shortcut file and select Properties. In the Properties add the /dshowlegacy text at the end of the Target's text.

Now, anytime you launch Aximmetry with the new shortcut, it will apply the /dshowlegacy switch. You can still use the original shortcut or exe to launch Aximmetry without any command line switch.

Note, there are other command line switches listed here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/preparation-of-the-production-environment-phase-i/scripting-in-aximmetry/command-line-switches/
