Using LED walls and AR together /Using a single machine: AR graphics is in Aximmetry native engine

Hi.

We are working on a combination of LEDwall and AR scene and have tried it on 2 machines and 1 machine based on this tutorial.

https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-studio-operators/using-led-walls-and-ar-together/?_ga=2.42612259.749937219.1678065695-897911817.1678065695

However, "YOUR AR SCENE" in the attached image does not appear. Using "TrackedCam_AR_Unreal_Prev_3-Cam.xcomp" in Unreal data does not show the "Parent" of the image.

what is this node?

Should I watch the final preview on the LED or AR machine?

Hi,

"YOUR AR SCENE" node is just an example of how your scene and models would be connected to the Render_General compound. It is an AR scene/model rendered by Aximmetry and not Unreal. And this setup is done with 1 machine.
More on how to import models in Aximmetry here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/preparation-of-the-production-environment-phase-i/obtaining-graphics-and-virtual-assets/creating-content/creating-content-in-aximmetry-se/importing-a-3d-model/

If you want to use Unreal to render the AR objects, then you will need to make two compounds in your 2 machine setup. One compound has the LEDWallCam_Prev_3-Cam_4-Wall inside the other one has the TrackedCam_AR_Unreal_Prev_3-Cam.

In the single-machine setup with the Aximmetry render engine for AR, you will see the final preview in the LEDWallCam_Prev_3-Cam_4-Wall.

In the 2 machine setup with Unreal, you will see the final preview in TrackedCam_AR_Unreal_Prev_3-Cam, you will have to set the Input as the camera pointing to the led wall. However, in this case, the Led Wall Digital Extension feature will not work. For that to work, you will have to send the final output video from the Led Wall machine to the AR machine and use that instead of just the camera's image.

Warmest regards,
