In an empty compound, Aximmetry DE struggles to open a simple mp4 file. The Processor Load window constantly displays "Loading" and Aximmetry freezes after this point and requires a Force Quit.
When loading up the last worked on compound, Aximmetry freezes the same way on the following:
[Work-16] Opening video file "stock_video_01.mp4"
[Work-01] Opening video file "stock_video_02.mp4"
[Arr] Loading "[Common]:Misc\Test_Crawl.txt"
After reinstalling Aximmetry DE and Unreal Engine for Aximmetry and still getting the same issue, I've resorted to posting here.
Can someone solve this mystery?

Do you get an error window or error in the log?
If not, but Aximmetry is still responsive, you could try creating a dump file like this:
And send it to sales@aximmetry.com for further investigation.
You should also check on the Startup window if the correct GPU is selected:
And which Windows OS do you use and what is its version? It could be that you are using a Windows OS version that missing some essential Windows components.
You can easily look up your exact Windows version by using the System Information Windows app:
