Too many messages in Unreal Engine Log

Hi,

Since updating to 2023.1.0.23385 I have seen a message come up saying "Too many messages in Unreal Engine Log. Some messages will be ignored".

It does not seem to affect the performance of Aximmetry, but I would like to know why this is and if it is in fact something that needs investigating.

Thanks,

Phil.

Hi,

In the last version of Aximmetry (2023.1.0), we made this log message's wording a bit more clear.

To actually see the Unreal Engine Log panel that is referred to in the message, use View-> Unreal Engine Log:

Most of the time you don't have to worry about this message. At the startup, many Unreal projects go over this limit and trigger this message.
It is just a low-level warning message that not all messages will be displayed in the Unreal Engine Log panel. Aximmetry does not display every message to save computer processing power.
If you still want to see the full log with the messages that are removed from the Unreal Engine log, use the unreal scene in live sync mode and you can read all the messages in Unreal Editor's output log.

Warmest regards,

Thanks very much for your quick reply Eifert, that all makes perfect sense.  Glad it is not an error!

Phil.
