axibridge multi-ports

Hi,

I want to use Axibridge for 3 differents HTC Vive trackers to 3 billboards. on port 17501 it works but not on the other 2 ports 17502 and 17503. I have the message: axibridge17502:no input.

which compound do you use to send the data via aximmetry community to the brodcast machine so that, the 3 billbords correspond to the 3 HTC vive trackers?

THANKS, José

Hi José,

Are trying to set up a multi-machine configuration, like it is discussed here https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-studio-operators/setting-up-a-multi-machine-configuration/ ? In this case, note that Multi-machine extension is a Broadcast license feature.
Or for example, you just have a machine near your Vive that you want to use to send tracking to a computer further away.

If you are using a multi-machine setup. In the computer that receives the Vive tracking, you should map the Vive trackers in the Device mapper and use those mapped # in the camera compound. In the remote machines, you should map the Axibridges in the Device-mapper for the same # IDs.

Thank you for your reply.

actually, I use a simple pc which is connected to the HTC Vive with a community version. I want to send data from 3 HTC trackers to the production pc with a broadcast version. it works well with a single tracker with axibridge. but I can't get the data for the 3 trackers at the same time.

what is the best way to do this?

Regards

José

Hi,

I guess you are using the Led Wall compound to forward the HTC Vive trackers.
In that case, it only forwards the tracking for the active camera:

However, you don't need the Led Wall compound for such forwarding.
You can do this setup instead:

In each Camera Tracking module, set different Vive trackers as Device, and different Fwd Port.
You can even do more than 3 trackers. And this setup will consume less computer performance than running the Led Wall compound.
