I got a GPU load and framerate question

Hello,

I got a question, when I tried to increase the framerate to test the limit, and there is a situation:

When CPU load is under 100, the framerate is working

When the framerate is higher, the output framerate was adjusted to half of the setting, not the maximum output.

This situation is not on another PC, always rendering maximum possible framerate.

Config of the PC:

GPU is RTX3090, and working on Aximmetry Broadcast version.

I tested on another machine with a Aximmetry Professional version, Ryzen CPU and RTX3060, no this situation.

Any suggestion or test I can do?

Hi,

This behavior of halving the frame rate when your computer can not keep up the frame rate has been changed in the latest Aximmetry (2023.1.0). You should no longer experience halved frame rates.

Generally, you should use a frame rate or resolution where Processorload (GPU and CPU) displays never turn red. Even after long continued use of the scene.

If you want to test what is the maximum frame rate your scene can achieve, there is an Unlimited Frame rate option:

Also, only use the interlaced option, if you want to produce an interlaced video.

Warmest regards,
