Trouble Getting 3D Object In Front Of Talent

I can't really find any documentation on this piece. not sure if I'm not looking hard enough or if it's just not possible.

I'm trying to film talent in front of a green screen. they would be in the middle of the frame and represent the cylinder. I need dynamic camera movement in this so I'm using a tracked camera but I also would like some of the mannequins that are in front of the talent to go over the talent as if they were actually there.

I tried making one of the mannequins an AximmetryAR element and went through those steps but it still doesn't work properly.

Does anyone have any tips or directions for this process?

do i need to do this shot in front of a LED volume?

I went through that already but I did it again and it's the same result. I don't have the option to key the talent out when I use the AR xcomp

is there a separate tag for AR elements meant for being behind the talent. do I need a separate machine to render whats in front of the talent?

in these pictures i set almost everything in the scene to "AximmetryAR"

my first goal is to have the camera in the unreal environment tracked to the cinematographer's moves. I figured it out.

my second goal was to properly key out the talent and set them in the environment. also figured that out.

my third goal is to have a few of the objects in the scene be able to go in front of the talent as the cinematographer moves the camera whilst having the other goals in mind.

Why are you using the AR compound? That’s meant for placing 3D objects in the real world and not for green screen. What you need is a Tracked cam compound and to use the Tracked Aximmetry Camera in your Unreal scene.

Again, I suggest that you go back to the documentation and read it from beginning to end to get a better understanding about how everything works.

I'm using the AR compound because that was the only way I could get an object in front of the talent.

I couldn't figure out how to get objects to sit in front of the talent using the Tracked Camera

*I was putzing around with the billboards and figured it out*

Hi,

There should be no problem placing objects in front of the billboard in Tracked Camera.
Just make sure you connected everything correctly: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-aximmetry-de-users/using-tracked-cameras-and-augmented-reality-with-an-unreal-scene/#aximmetry-setup
And that the Studio and Virtual set is aligned correctly: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-studio-operators/setting-up-virtual-sets-with-tracked-cameras/#studio-setup

Warmest regards,
