No image preview if video (or image) slots are populated through pins. Is this expected behavior or bug?

I am populating virtual screens video files names through osc calls like below

The filename slots are populated correctly, and the output shows the correct image, but there is no preview available in the corresponding slots in the control boards.

Is that the expected behavior or is it a bug?

Hi,

I am guessing from the other posts that you solved it.
One problem could have been that not all pins were connected to a Video player module.

More on the #$ special Pin Collector pin at the Add Video/Image Switch Button paragraph here:

Warmest regards,

Yes, I solved it. Connecting the values directly to the Pins Collector has that effect.
I now use set pins, to set the values, when new values arrive. That solves the problem completely.
