They don't exactly work the same. But in most use cases, you can use the Delay Transformation instead of connecting the delay to the Camera Tracking module.

With the Camera Tracking module delay pin, you can set a more accurate delay value, especially if your tracking system runs at a higher frame rate than your Aximmetry Composer. As the Camera Tracking module will be able to get camera tracking data values that happen between the frames, while the Delay Transformation module will only get the transformation data at the rate of your Aximmetry Composer Rendering frame rate:

Note, that you can set the delay pin of the Camera Tracking with other modules. You can pretty much convert any data type into another data type in Aximmetry:
