Answer to blackhole

Hi TwentyStudios

Indeed, two projects. That is what I tried to describe, sorry.

The first project:

I still have this horrible black plane in my project. No tut say something about it. Everything works, the Tracker, The moving, The actualisation. But in Aximetry I cannot find, where I can turn off this black plane. I cannot find this plane in the Unrealproject. where can I turn off this black plane?

The second project:

When I try to build up the scene from scratch. I open UEforAximmetry.  After defining the Scene and putting in the camera, I baked it every time. When I drop it into the aximmetry-scene - I tried inport the new Unreal-scene and substitute the existing one (thats why both are visible) - why aximmetry don't recognize the camera. In the other projects, I noticed, that Aximmetry recognize the camera and enlarged. What can I do for that?

Do you understand better, what I mean?

Thanks for your help

best Daniel

No, I still don’t understand. Listen: You can’t have two Unreal projects added at the same time in Aximmetry! The black plane is probably where you would see the video feed if you had set it up correctly. But, I don’t understand why you would get this if you had added the Tracked Camera and not the Billboard camera from the Aximmetry menu in the Unreal Editor. Go back from the beginning, follow the instructions for working with tracked cameras (they apply to all tracking systems), make sure you get a video from your camera and DO NOT add two different unreal scenes to the same Aximmetry project.

Also, no need to clog up the forum by starting different threads on the same subject. Reply in the same thread please. If you can’t follow basic instructions no one will be able to help you.

Hi

Sorry for your confusion.

You can’t have two Unreal projects added at the same time in Aximmetry!

that's clear, but this is not the point. I don't want two UE-Projects in the same time.
In the first approach, as shown in the video, I wanted to replace the UE scene with another one.

It was perhaps a bad picture. sorry, I delete the upper one and replace it with the underneeth.
Then it should update, isn't it? But it doesn't.

The black plane is probably where you would see the video feed if you had set it up correctly. But, I don’t understand why you would get this if you had added the Tracked Camera and not the Billboard camera from the Aximmetry menu in the Unreal Editor.

I only have to know where I have to turn up this The black quare, do you understand now better? Excuse the confusion and my bad english. But I ask you to be a little more respectful. I'm not doing this on purpose.

best wishes

Ok, FIRST delete any existing Unreal scenes in tour Aximmetry project, THEN add your new scene. Is that clear?

The “Black hole” is probably where the video should go, so make sure Aximmetry is actually receiving video. It’s the first time I’ve seen anyone with this issue, so you’re clearly missing a step or are doing something strange with your setup. That’s why I ask that you start from scratch (new Aximmetry project, new Unreal scene) and follow the instructions methodically.

On the matter of being respectful, I ask you in return to be a little more respectful of everyone’s time by reading and following the documentation and not making multiple post about the same issue on this forum. Thousands of people before you have successfully got this working  (it’s not a bug in the software) so you have to ask yourself what you might be doing differently to everyone else.
