Black hole

Hi there

So, I checked all tuts and corrected what I can. Yes Unreal and Aximmetry are very complex tools. I this case I will say whats my proplem.

In the Tut they have two scenarios:

One only with content from Unreal engine

One from RealSense Tracking, for this I found no Content, that helps me.

Problem one:

I take the examplescene from Retracker and everything works: The black Hole appears also, but when he click Input 1 the black hole disappears. But not in my case.

This is the Video: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oq5KEX5yqs0" Second: 2.50

Second Problem I cannot fix it:

I changed the Camera in the UE and cook it but, it doensnt enlarge, all the features: Control data, BTexture, Connection are hided, why?

Look:

I want the first one change with the second one, but it doesnt enlarge.

Thanks for your help

Best Daniel

I don’t understand what you’re trying to describe. You still seem to have two unreal projects loaded? You can only use one at a time. If you don’t have the connections after placing a SINGLE Unreal project it Aximmetry ot means you haven’t set up your Unreal project correctly. Again, just follow the instructions.

Hi TwentyStudios

Indeed, two projects. That is what I tried to describe, sorry.

The first project:

I still have this horrible black plane in my project. No tut say something about it. Everything works, the Tracker, The moving, The actualisation. But in Aximetry I cannot find, where I can turn off this black plane. I cannot find this plane in the Unrealproject. where can I turn off this black plane?

The second project:

When I try to build up the scene from scratch. I open UEforAximmetry.  After defining the Scene and putting in the camera, I baked it every time. When I drop it into the aximmetry-scene - I tried inport the new Unreal-scene and substitute the existing one (thats why both are visible) - why aximmetry don't recognize the camera. In the other projects, I noticed, that Aximmetry recognize the camera and enlarged. What can I do for that?

Do you understand better, what I mean?

Thanks for your help

Hi Daniel,

You need to delete one of the Unreal Project nodes in Aximmetry.
There Can Be Only One:

If there are two, then one of them won't be processed and even its pins won't appear.
This is because only one Unreal can run on Windows at once.

If you want to replace an existing Unreal project inside an Aximmetry compound, then the best way to do this by changing the Import Source:

The "enlarged" camera and the black hole are likely the results of some incorrect setting, please follow this documentation very closely: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-studio-operators/setting-up-virtual-sets-with-tracked-cameras/

Warmest regards,
