Dear Aximmetry Team,
We´re currently wrapping our heads around the Virtual studio based on the 5UE beta and Unreal 5 project used for a 3 virtual cameras production. However our talents don´t know at which camera too look at.
In one of the posts long time ago you´ve mentioned that Aximmetry doesn´t have a support for any conventional tallys and that we would need to find a GPIO based solution.
So for example there is this one:
https://www.avmatrix.com/products/ts3019-wireless-multi-camera-tally-system/
It says that it can work through USB-C or GPIO.
But now the main question. What should i do in order to make it receive the signal and recognise the camera switching?
I assume that i would need to add a GPIO out module somewhere in the Flow. However maybe you could let me know to which node or module should i connect it to?
Or maybe you already have information about any other GPIO based (or other) tally systems which definitely work with aximmetry?
Thank you in advance
Alex
Hi Alex,
We have GPIO control documentation here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/control-methods/using-gpio-to-control-a-scene/
You don't need to do anything in the Flow once you have a GPIO device, you can just use the Assign GPIO option and it will detect the incoming GPIO signal and assign it.
I guess you could make a separate thread where you ask the forum users what they use for a tally. Maybe that will get more replies.
Warmest regards,
