Billboard + lens distortion problem (tracked camera)

 

Hi, 

When i activate the billboard and lens distortion at the same time (in tracked camera) my billboard is seen double.

Hi Elimpia,

The Edge Expand has a 0.5 maximum limit. It doesn't work correctly over 0.5 value. Sadly currently, you are allowed to set it higher than 0.5, we will fix this in a future version.
Also, it is very unlikely you want a higher than 0.5 value. It can significantly increase the number of pixels your computer needs to render, more on it here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-studio-operators/setting-up-virtual-sets-with-tracked-cameras/#edge-expand

If you still experience the doubling of the billboard when Allow Virtuals is turned off, that can be fixed by turning off Render To Depth:
However, this shouldn't be an issue if you are running your project without frame loss (the FPS always stays green). So we suggest fixing the FPS instead. You might need the Render To Depth billboards for other things in your Unreal project.
