[Feature Request] Custom Text and fade time on Peekers

When building visual control feedbacks e.g. with a Trigger Peeker,
we get that little rectangle flashing together with the word 'fired'.

Those peekers are cool.

It would be even cooler though, if the Peeker(s) came with a custom text input, so we could replace 'fired'
with whatever feedback we want (Like 'Camera 1', 'Screenshot', 'Wake up',.....)
Especially when monitoring multiple events this would make things easier without having to resort to extra text-nodes to introduce additional information.

Also (especially with triggers) it would be cool to have a fade time value.
So the trigger would flash on, but rather than flashing off again, it would fade out for (say) 2 seconds,
which again would make it visually easier to identify the type of the event.

Combined with the custom text, one could even think about a 'minimum fade value',
so that the text remains translucent visible even when the trigger is not currently firing.... :-)

Cheers & all the best.

Eric.

Hi Eric,

Many of the peeker modules could use some extra settings. It would especially nice if such settings could be applied when using CTRL mouse peeking.
Hopefully, we will have time in the near future for such updates.

You can add some fade time to the Trigger Peeker module fairly easily like this:

I also like to use the Vector History module with 10 frames duration to peek at data.

We added your feature request to our list and we will consider adding it in future releases.

Warmest regards,
