when aximmetry will fix this problem?

I think this problem happened when switching on SDI video input using alpha animation

Also in 2020.4.1 the software force close without showing any error messages sometimes and sometimes it show same error message.

We have installed Blackmagic desktop Video 11.5.1 driver to see if this can help in solving our problem as they mentioned a bug that is similar to what we have

You wrote "SDI video input using alpha animation".
Can I ask what did you mean exactly?  Thank you.

We are using simple template which have sdi input as its background and this template is animated so it have in/loop/out animation

This problem happened randomly .

When you switch between ports, is that mean:
- you change the Device property of a Video Input module
- or you have multiple Video Input modules and you switch between them via a Switch Video

Do you also use audio input from these inputs?

we didn't changed the switch module inputs or audio but sometimes we change the device property of video input module.

Unfortunately we still cannot reproduce the crash.

But now that you use the 5.1 version, can I ask you to create and send us a dump when the crash occurs? Thank you.

We have tested Aximmetry 2020.5.1 on our Studio PC for sometime and I think that we don't have this problem now.

We will keep monitoring this problem and see if everything is ok

Side note, Its seems to me that there is some performance improvement when using aximmetry 20.20.5.1.
So ,Thank you aximmetry

We’re still geting crashes in 2020.5.1. This happens for both NDI and SDI source. Just switching between them crashes Aximmetry. It seems to happen especially when we activate (or switch to) an input for the first time. After a restart we can often switch to it again without a crash, and then it seems to stay fine. Not sure what’s going on but I’m saving the crash logs and will send them ASAP.

Thank you all for the inputs. I believe we've managed to reproduce the issue, and working on fixing it.

Ahmed: yes the handling of video input and video playback frames happens differently which frees a fair amount of performance. Thank you!
