No input through Blackmagic Deck link 8k

Hello community, having some trouble to input SDI through a BM 8k pro. Everything works fine through BlackMagic Media express, I can see the input. But in Aximmetry it doesn't work. I can see the card. Fyi I am using Broadcast DE trial . Is the broadcast trial have limitation on the SDI input? I work for one week with it testing and everything was working fine. I could see the input . Then suddenly it just stop working.

Thanks.

Hi,

The broadcast trial doesn't have limitations on SDI. Make sure you start the Broadcast version, at the start of the Aximmetry Composer you should see Broadcast written out:

Also, try updating to the latest Blackmagic driver to see if that fixes the issue.

If the issue is still present, do you get any error messages in Aximmetry? Do you see the Blackmagic at the Video devices in Aximmetry?

Warmest regards,

Hi Dwayne,

Is Aximmetry detecting inputs as outputs? If so, can you show the configuration in Blackmagic Desktop Video?
Also, the version number of Blackmagic Desktop Video could help us figure out the issue.

You can also tell us the exact OS version by copying it out from System Information:

You can use windows search to find the System Information application:

Hi,

First, you could try setting Mode to Auto:

If it still doesn't work. then you could do the same in an empty compound with only the Video Input module:

Then you should check the Connecter mapping for your capture card's connection ID:

For example in our card, we can only select the physical SDI 3 connector slot even though the connection ID is 2:

So in your case, you should set it to SDI 1.... Or if there is no such option, then change the physical connection to the slot you specify here.

If it still doesn't work, can you tell me which version of Desktop Video you use? You can check the version here:

Warmest regards,
