The current Aximmetry version is 2022.3.0, I know there's talk of mars Camtrack in an upcoming version but there's been no announcement yet.

@Cookseyyyyy: Vive Mars now supports FreeD, so it already works in Aximmetry. It does require the Broadcast edition of Aximmetry.

Interesting! I set up in my new studio yesterday so i was really hoping there would be a way to use the mars system before waiting for a full update!

Where was that announcement? And is there any documentation I should look at?

A representative from Vive Mars announced compatibility on the Aximmetry Facebook group. FreeD is a (more or less) standard protocol, so as long as you have FreeD support in your Aximmetry version it should work out of the box. I really recommend trying the Aximmetry Camera calibrator as well, as an alternative to the Mars calibration tools

Hi again. I'm wondering if you might know of any more detail on getting this working. I've been spending the morning looking at it all but I'm getting nowhere! I can see options for FreeD in Aximmetry but no option to put in an IP address. and when I just use the port i get errors, no sign of anything working or tracking data coming through.

Hi,

It seems that currently FreeD is only possible with the beta firmware of Vive Mars, a firmware version higher than 2.02.

Currently, the latest firmware I can see on the Vive Mars homepage is 1.07.

Warmest regards,
