Showtec NET-2/3 Pocket - ArtNet to DMX not send DMX commands out - solved

Hi
On old post
https://my.aximmetry.com/post/1260-enttec-dmx-usb-pro-supporthttps://my.aximmetry.com/post/1260-enttec-dmx-usb-pro-support

I bay one of this DMX controller. Is connected by router and with my smart phone with program named Art-Net Controller (Android) it work good. On controller green light (DMX command) flash and work with one light contacted via DMX, but on Asymmetry I try all modules DMX_out and not send any data to Showtec NET-2/3 Pocket. The Asymmetry  Art Net recognized via network , its mapped like a DMX Out but not send the data. Try to remove the firewall it's not fix.
Did have some Triger to activate flow models for DMX_out, or may be some of setting need to fix?
Make some picture for to problem .
Best Regards

Not sure why it’s not working for you, but I can confirm that we’re using this exact model to control DMX lights in our studio. So at least you know it’s not a software bug or incompatible hardware.

Hi Charlie,

It could be that the computer with Aximmetry is on a different network than 192.168.1.x.
If so, you could set the subnet to less limiting than 255.255.255.0, like 255.0.0.0:

Hi Eifert@Aximmetry
Well good point but its not that - all network and working computer is with Sub 255.255.255.0.
The Android Program run on the same Network Rutter its connected via  WiFi and work and send DMX commands.
The funny part is: I try to use with UE 4.27 with DMX plug in on and its the same story - Not send DDMX commands to NET-2 - only yellows  light blink (ACT) but blue one (DMX) not blink.
Did have some free program (or not so expensive) to run ArtNet unit NET-2 on PC, just for check ?
Best Regards

Hi Charlie,

You need subnet mask 255.0.0.0 if you want the computer on IP 192.1.1.1 to see IP 192.2.1.1.
255.255.255.0 will limit the possible IP-s you can see between  192.1.1.1 and 192.1.1.255.

You could ping your Showtec pocket to see if your computer can really connect to it. Note that it might be that your Showtec pocket is not pingable and the below method will not give any results cause it. Since we don't have this exact hardware, we can not tell if it is pingable or not.
Run Command Prompt:

Type in for example ping 192.168.1.127
Then it should write out something like this:

You might want to set Net, Subnet, and Universe to 0. On some hardware that is the default setting.

While searching for the right settings, you can connect an LFO as a value to see if your lighting reacts:

You can use ArtNetominator to see what is being output. Like you could potentially see what Net, Subnet, and Universe your phone is using: https://www.lightjams.com/artnetominator/ There are other free software that you can find on the internet if you need something more complex.

Warmest regards,

Thanks for all help.

I find where is "the problem"

All its work only on Universe 0. On my experiment I use Universe 1.
Need to read carefully all subjections from experts.
All the best.
