Send data From Unreal Engine to aximmetry

Hello, Is it possible to send data from the Unreal engine project to aximmetry?

I know it is possible the other way around (send data from aximmetry to Unreal), but is there any way to send from Unreal to aximmetry natively?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

can you elaborate on what data you want to send exactly?

Best regards,

Of course.

I'm calculating multiple distances within the unreal scene, between an htc vive tracker and certain elements in the scene.
The closer I am to this element, the more intensely a spotlight (connected by dmx) illuminates.
In this case, I would need to receive from Unreal, the value of some 3D vectors, as well as scalar or integer values.
Is it possible?

Thank you very much for your time.

Hi,

Exposing an output pin from Unreal to Aximmetry is currently restricted to video.

I will join the discussion.

I was also looking for the possibility of transmitting position values, vector values and numerical values. In order to continue the logic in axymmetry.

I would be grateful if such an opportunity appears in future versions.

Hello,

we will consider adding it to our future releases.

Hi Jorcassa and Evgesha,

You might be able to do the whole calculation in Aximmetry.
The objects between you calculate distances, you could set their transformation within Aximmetry, like this:
https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-aximmetry-de-users/passing-transformation-from-the-unreal-scene/ And then you could calculate the distances between these transformations within Aximmetry.

Warmest regards,
