That is correct.
You can trim videos using the Sequencer and Sequence Video modules.
If you have a video file in the Flow editor that you want to trim, you have to change the module type to Sequence Video. Right click on the module and choose the Change Module Type option.
Select the Sequence Video module.
Insert a Sequencer module and connect the pins as seen here.
Double click on Sequencer to access the editing interface.
Hover your mouse cursor over either of the edges of the clip until you see the “trim” cursor appear.
Click and drag using the right mouse button to trim the video.
Go back to the Flow editor. Click on the Sequencer module and press play. If every setting is on default in the Sequencer, then it will play the trimmed video on loop.
Bear in mind, that this only works in this fashion, as explained above.
Videos imported via the Control Board cannot be trimmed.
To use the trimmed footage without loop, click on the Sequencer module and set the Looping value to Off in the Pin Values. This way it will only play it once.
In the Control Board’s default video selectors such as VIDEOS and VIRTUAL SCREEN there’s no such option.
However it is possible to modify these video selector modules so that you can trim the videos. To do this find the Overlays_... compound in your Flow editor. Right click on it and select “Edit compound in-place”. Double click to enter the compound. Find the relevant video selector (VIDEOS and/or VIRTUAL SCREEN) and double click on it. You will find several video player modules.
To be able to trim these videos, follow the steps as we have explained above.
What do you want to trim exactly? Trimming the image or the length of the video?
