When using the Reset Function on a Value, it would be cool if the Value would be reset to whatever value lives in the 'Default' slider.
And it would be even cooler, if that Reset Function could be triggered externally...:-)

You need to turn on Use Defaults for the Reset to work with the Default value:
The Set ... Pin modules work like an externally triggerable Reset Function.
In this case, the Set Scalar Pin could be used to change a compound's pin's value:
For the Set ... Pin to target the compound's pin, you need to leave the Module pin blank. If you target a node, then you have to change the Module pin's value to the node's name.
