In Sequencer, how to select parts to loop?

Hi there.

When controlling cameras in Sequencer, I create multiple parts with dedicated camera movements.
Each part is meant to loop back and forth once selected.
(Pretty much like the 16 Paths in the Camera Tab, but in Sequencer... :-))
At the beginning of each part I created a Marker.

I now trigger the Playhead to jump to Marker1 (at the beginning of Part1) and set the mode to Play.
This works quite nicely.

But I also want Axy to automagically identify the current Part1 as the looping region.
For that I activated the switches as shown below.

Unfortunately Axy always goes through *all* Parts on the timeline,
bouncing back once it reaches the end of the last Part.

I know this could be fixed by manually setting Loop Start and Loop End values, but that's sorta cumbersome.

I also tried placing additional Markers at the end of each Part, setting the Halt At Marker value to that.
But in this case the Playback actually halts at that Marker, whithout bouncing back.

I thought that AutoLoopRegion would identify the currently playing Part as a loop region, but apparently that's not the case.

What am I doing wrong?

Cheers & all the best.

Eric.

PS: Apparently using the Camera_Sequencer.xcomp is one way to address this issue.... :-)

Hi Eric,

Does the Camera_Sequencer.xcomp work for your needs?

If not, here is a more general solution to bounce between markers:

Where the Incremental module has Max Value 1 and Looping turned On:

Hi Eifert.

Thanks! The Camera_Sequencer.xcomp works fine indeed.
For our current needs those 16 Tracks per Camera should be plenty.

The above setup is quite nifty though, and I'll certainly keep it in mind!

Thanks again & all the best.

Eric.
