Hi,

why the studio version of Axy doesn't have NDI input?
at least add one NDI input for it for people who cant afford to buy the pro/broadcast version.
_ Can you make monthly payments like other software this way people with a low budget can purchase Axy with pro version features.
Thanks,
Hayder

For what it is worth,  I agree that the Studio version should have at least one NDI input.   I have no problem with SDI I/O being only part of the pro/broadcast version, but making the Studio version force you to just use HDMI I/O with no NDI capability at all seems a little bit out of line.   I hope one day Aximmetry reconsiders adding NDI capability (even just ONE NDI input) to the Studio version.

Hi,

Studio SE now is actually free, for a limited offer: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/1920-unprecedented-offers-on-aximmetry-se-pro
And even professional SE cost less than DE cost before.

Nevertheless, we are interested in any suggestions. But we would like to know more about your use case, can you share what would the NDI input used for in a Studio license environment.

Warmest regards,

Hi,
I use Aximmetry for small studio production, but I just started and still learning about virtual production.
I use NDI for remote gussets like Zoom and Skype for live streaming to Youtube and facebook.
Thanks

Hi, Eifert@Aximmetry

I can't find any virtual sets for Aximmetry SE anywhere, but I can find a lot of cheap Aximmetry DE virtual sets online.

my question was can we have at least one NDI input for Aximmetry DE studio?

Hi Hayder,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, sadly it is unfortunate that Zoom and Skype's NDI option is not possible in Studio editions. We have taken note of this limitation of the Studio edition and we will consider changes in the future based on this, but I can not promise anything.

We have some studio sets that are available in our Studio library, you can download them here if you did not install the library with Aximmetry: https://my.aximmetry.com/User/MyPackages

Also, feel free to write sales@aximmetry.com, they can point you to where you can get more virtual sets and even give you contact with virtual set creators.
Or they can even sell you some other Aximmetry virtual sets (SE), like these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vemDiqVEBc (However there are newer virtual sets than these)

Warmest regards,

Studio version is amazing value, but I would gladly pay a little bit more for at least one NDI I/O indeed (as an addon or upgrade).

On top of receiving skype calls, it would also help for camera calibration (retracker for instance), virtual webcam to send back to zoom or vmix/obs for streaming, using a small NDI camera (marshall, birddog, PTZ optics...)

The step to "professional" and "broadcast" is a little bit high for individuals at the moment.

I'll add my input as well... i think 1 NDI in and 1 NDI out for studio would be attractive for a lot of smaller operators who can't afford the pro license. it would also be a similar model to how you differentiate the SDI function of pro to broadcast.

Hi,

We are excited to announce that the NDI feature, along with the option to rent additional NDI ports on a monthly basis, is now available for Studio and Professional licenses. For more details and information on how to take advantage of this offering, we invite you to visit the website at https://aximmetry.com/products.
Note: The Community Editions are discontinued. Instead, we now offer Studio Editions with a watermark for an unlimited trial period.

Warmest regards,
