Hello!
We´re trying to record video at 50 fps with 50 fps timecode, with no luck.
We have all settings at 50 fps and a 50 fps source with timecode coming from the camera. Axy sees the video and also the timecode (source input is set to Timecode Master), but when we hit record, only few frames are recorded, no matter what codec we use.
Are we missing something or what we want is not possible?
We´re aware that we are not using a standard timecode framerate but in some workflows doesn´t seem to be an issue, that´s why we´re asking.
Thanks in advance
cheers!
Hi Luchiano,
It is probably due to a wrong setting or high processor load.
Make sure that you didn't change the Frame Rate in your recorder from Realtime.
And that you turned on Use Mater TC:
Non-realtime Frame Rate is used in post-process workflows when you don't have any live input. Setting it to anything other than Realtime will make your computer render the frames as fast as it can.
Use Master TC will ensure that the recorded video will have the same timecode as Timecode Master.
Also, make sure you set Rendering to your desired frame rate at Edit->Preferences:
And keep your process load in the green:
Warmest regards,
