When we rack focus, how can we ensure that the virtual defocus by Aximmetry Unreal does not get applied to the footage?
The footage already gets naturally defocused, and the tracking system lens data drives the focus distance data to defocus the virtual elements. We are using billboards with allow virtual for lighting.
This normally isn’t an issue, since Billboards shouldn’t be affected by UE4 focus at all. If they are you might have made changes to the Billboard material?
