Is there a way to compose an user-friendly, all-in-one compound?

The complexity of the standard Flow, Camera, and Input is always challenging for them to work in a live studio environment.

The three of them are neatly organized, but it would be useful if there is a customizable and simplify version of all of them combined, like a dash board, where I don't have to switch amongs these three tabs for their setting.

For instance, having a function (trigger via level blueprint) in my scene means that after selecting camera path in Camera tab, I have to switch to Flow tab, select my UE4 project, scroll down to find my function and click on that button (which is loacted very close to other buttons or floats, increasing the chance of misclicking).

It would be nice if I have a compound that allows me to arrange my camera path options next to button of every function, with the all needed media slots from Overlays or billboard parameters from Inputs. I know it is doable, but very hard without knowledge of Aximmetry Logic, still, I feel like this should be a ready-made solution.

I hope someone can point me to the right direction on this topic, because the knowledge base doesn't seem to cover this.

Yes, there is. Check this video here. Its very simple. Just create your own control board, right-click on what you want to be included there too from the other tabs, select it and that's it.

Thank you! This is exactly what I need.

However, It didn't seem to offer a way to turn trigger into buttons. I know it's possible to bind them with keyboards, but I want to access custom functions via buttoms.

To be more specific, I have two functions in my level named smolFireworks and Bigfireworks.

It would be great if they can turn into buttons for my all-in-one compound.

Hi,

Sadly, the video linked by Buffos doesn't contain that you can also make your own control board from the ground up using the Pin Collector module. The documentation of Pin Collectors can be found here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-content-creators/special-compound-pin-collector/

So in short you can add the Trigger to a control board like this:
Create a Pin Collector:

Connect the Trigger pin to your Pin Collector:

Give the pin a name that starts with #.
The # character will make a button from this pin on the control board.

Create a Control Board:

Add the Pin Collector to the Control Board:

If you want everything at one place, you can move pin collectors from other control boards to the new one, like this:

Warmest regards,

Thanks for the respond, but the Pin collector isn't a button, it is just a node that has the button in it that still require me to select it and click.

I am looking for an actual trigger button, which doesn't seems to exist in Aximmetry.

Hi Barry,

Pin collectors can display buttons on themselves (on the Control Board). Pin collector will know to display a button from the # sign in the pin's name (#test). And it will be displayed like this:

This documentation covers the buttons and other signs: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-content-creators/special-compound-pin-collector/#add-button-to-the-pin-collector

Warmest regards,
