Video recording problem

Hello.

Today I ran into a video recording problem.

If the original video contains drops, then when recording not in real time, the video freezes bumping into the drop. However, the sound continues to play.

In Video_Recorder I set Frame Rate 29.97p

Also, the video does not play at all if I set a buffer in the video file.

Attached is the original video. First drop at 4:18.

The video is heavy, but the original is needed for the experiment.

Hi Oleg,

Buffer setting only works with real-time recording. It doesn't make much sense in a non-real-time recording. Nevertheless, there should be at least an error message, so thank you for reporting it.

The recording stops at 4:18 because the video's timecode stops there. I guess this was the result of the drop.
Turning on Use Master TC (Master TimeCode) in the Video Recorder module circumvents this problem:

Note that this will make use of Aximmetry's timecode. Which starts counting when you start Aximmetry.

If you are going to use the timecode of the video that you are re-recording, then there are various ways to supply the timecode to the recorder or to overwrite the Master Timecode. One way would be is to set another video to be the Master Timecode:

Warmest regards,
