A specific use case and benefits on using Aximmetry

Hello,

Before dwelling and learning Aximmetry, I would like to hear from support what are the benefits on using it for a specific use-case, which will probably will require the pro version. The use case is a single camera shot of a low budget show for TV, that plan to use hybrid virtual production. That is - shooting and recording live proxies of live low quality composite (actor on green screen, unreal BG and FG), and saving original footage and meta data (using unreal Take Recorder, or any equivalent Aximmetry has to offer) to later recompose with HQ renders using Nuke/After.

In this kind of a very specific scenario, what are the workflow benefits to be expected of Aximmetry? Will tracking/calibrating and matching the camera perspective to world would be easier and more streamlined?

Hi,

Yes, Aximmetry can help a lot in tracking and calibrating. Also, you can easily set up in Aximmetry's Flow Editor to save the recording, the composite, the keyed footage, the tracking, or the final render into high-quality formats. You can also use the Flow Editor for adjustments to the tracking and video in post-process or in real-time.
If you can further detail your workflow, then we can give more tips on where Aximmetry can help in it.

However, the setup difficulty of the tracking and the calibration of the lens/zoom also depends a lot on your hardware.

Warmest regards,
