PTZ Calibration problems

I read through some documents related to this but still encounter a lot of issues.

In Camera Calibrator:

  • Input are flipped and flickering.
  • No zoom/focus data( I didn't set the Zoom Devides since the document said not to if the PTZ is all-in-one ).

In DE Composer:

  • Virtual scene flickering.
  • No zoom/focus data.
  • And much more ( https://my.aximmetry.com/post/1690-how-to-move-billboard-behind-a-table )

We are using Ross PTZ-NDI, connected with SDI, local network.

Control using Ross Furio Joysticks.

Here are videos demonstrating our issues:

Please let us know if further information is needed.

I have a similar issue with camera tracking. I'm using Panasonic UE100 cameras and when I pull it into calibrator I get flipped control left and right.

Perhaps this a known bug? I can not find any information on this in the document...

@norris

Since no support has commented, Our team sent a inquiry to their sales team.

In case of Flipping, there is this option of Mirror, that can be turn off, hope this helps.

Hi,

For anyone reading it in the future.

Every time there's a flicker in that video, the reported position of the camera changes as well, as if the camera would stop sending tracking data for a moment, or it would report a completely different position. Please consult the manual of your camera to ensure your settings are correct. Additionally, it is worth checking the connection between the camera and Aximmetry as well.

When you give one or more calibration points in the Aximmetry Camera Calibrator, the virtual world will no longer follow the zoom/focus of your camera. Instead, it will follow the values that you gave.

Warmest regards,
