Light fog Setup

 

I read another post about Volumetry Light Ray in the forum and checked out the tutorial file.

I copy the part which seems to be the volume, and paste into my own scene, but it didn't show up.

I can't see the cylinder object, I tried moving and scaling it, no luck.

have I misuncerstand the way to use this?

Hi,

You are using an Unreal scene rendered by Unreal for Aximmetry. The part that you imported is a model that is used to create a volume effect and rendered by Aximmetry and not by Unreal. But don't worry, you can still use the two different renderers together, more on that here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-aximmetry-de-users/aximmetry-and-unreal-combined-rendering/
You will also have to copy the Render_General compound part of that model and connect. Or a camera module to display the model.

Alternatively, you could edit the Unreal map in Unreal for Aximmetry and to it a Volumetric Fog or a similar method to recreate the same effect.
